What to expect prior to your appointment of Bowen Therapy?
1 When an appointment is made for the first time, there will be an option to have a 30-minute free online consultation. Treatments now must be kept to a maximum of 60 minutes. Although many people prefer to talk face to face at the appointment, some find it easier online and this is fine. First and foremost, you need to feel comfortable about having the treatment.
2 An email will be sent to you confirming the appointment day, time and place and directions to the clinic. In this email will be advice as to what to wear and a little bit about Bowen Therapy, the cost and how to pay. There will be a request to wear a mask upon entering the clinic and you will be advised that I will be in full PPE (mask, visor and apron). There will be attachments on the email which will be
(a) Consultation Form
(b) Covid Risk Assessment
(c) GDPR Guidelines
(d) Track and Trace and Digital Consultation acceptance form.
All these forms are in word format, so they are able to be completed and returned online. However, if you have any problem with this they can all (with the exception of the covid risk assessment) be brought with you to the appointment. The covid risk assessment needs to be completed 12 – 24 hours prior to appointment to ensure that we are certain you are able to receive treatment and to ensure that no-one with any possible symptoms (as they keep changing) arrives at the clinic. If you are unable to complete this for any reason, please do advise me and I will give you a call prior to your appointment and bring a form with me for you to complete.
Please do always contact me if you have any questions about any of this as there is a lot to take in now.

6 I will then take your temperature and ask you to wash your hands. Individual towels are provided for this and put into a pedal bin.
7 We can then go into my therapy room. Here, (with the exception of the antiviral machine which has been proven to kill 995 of viruses and bacteria) you will see no difference. I feel it important that you are able to relax.
